QUEENS

The Ultimate Drag Crown

Who will be crowned

australia’s next drag superstar!

The formidable team at PARTY PASSPORT bring you Australia’s only Indigenous Drag Competition! Now on the dawn of its third year, Party Passport produced not one but two Miss First Nation Competitions in 2018. Teaming up with one of Australia’s most iconic venues The Imperial Hotel Sydney, our new Fab-Original Queen was crowned, Miss Lasey Dunaman! To complete an incredible year Miss First Nation traveled internationally with Yirramboi Festival to Taiwan where we saw Asia’s first ever First Nation Queen take out the much sort after title, Rose Mary.

Big things are planned for 2019 and beyond, we can’t wait!

black divaz film

BLACK DIVAZ goes behind the glitz, glamour and hot glue guns of the inaugural miss first nation pageant!

BLACK DIVAZ is a film that goes beyond the glitz, glue guns and glamour of BLACK DRAG to reveal a fun, fabulous and sometimes fearful place especially if you are an Indigenous man in a country where identity is constantly examined. – “And you thought PRISCILLA was the only Queen in the Desert!”

Over 5 steamy days in the top end of Australia 6 contestants battled it out in fierce lip synching battles, photo shoots with crocodiles and challenges that will see each contestant stretch more than just their wardrobe choices. What does it take to be crowned the winner? Black Divaz follows each contestant as they talk candidly about what brought them to this glittering stage – their triumphs and tragedies and what being Miss First Nation means for them and their communities.

MISS FIRST NATION 2018 – international

taiwan, asia

In November 2018 Party Passport alongside Yirramboi Festival produced the first International First Nations Pageant & first in all of Asia’s history (as far as we are aware) 👑✨

Ben (aka Miss Ellaneous) jet setted to TAIWAN as apart of the Pulima藝術節 Festival in partnership with Yirramboi Festival to run our first ever international Miss First Nation pageant.

Ben worked with 4 local Taiwanese First Nation drag artists which culminated in the crowning of Miss First Nation Taiwan, Rose Mary!
